Matei BEJENARU

CONVERSATIONS

The project is composed of 5 videos, each one of 5-7 minutes. Each film is a conversation between an artist (Matei Bejenaru) and a philosopher (Catalin Gheorghe).
Based on artists's questions and philosopher's answers, the discussions are linked to the Venice Biennial concept, "The Plateau of Humankind". The Felix Guattari's and Gilles Deleuze's "Mille plateaux", theorizes the philosophical concept of PLATEAU and relates it to the concept of RHIZOME.
The idea of conversation is the artistic base of the project. The conversation expands the dialectical form of the dialogue to an ideatic liberalisation which, finally, will disseminate the significances and will expose the democratical attitudes, by respecting the differences.
